About The Position

Synergy ECP is seeking a System Administrator with a TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph clearance. The role involves designing complex collection systems, integrating systems across multiple operating systems, performing trade-off studies, and analyzing system performance. The administrator will be responsible for building and configuring development, test, and production environments using Dell Blade servers and VMware, including installing and configuring VMware ESX server and Infrastructure Server. They will also build Active Directory Domain Servers and install/configure infrastructure software like DNS, McAfee EPO Servers, CENTRIFY, LDAP, and Linux repositories. Daily tasks include managing virtual environments, building new virtual machines, updating DNS, and troubleshooting system problems. The role also requires creating documentation for builds and upgrades, installing and configuring infrastructure applications, setting up VM client systems, patching and updating Linux and VM systems, supporting Certification and Accreditation, introducing new technologies, analyzing system logs, answering technical queries, troubleshooting reported problems, managing Apache NiFi clusters and dataflows, scripting, and providing Tier III support.

Requirements

Three (3) years experience in a technical leadership role, leading projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
Twelve (12) years in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
Significant demonstrated experience in designing complex collection systems.
Significant demonstrated experience in integrating systems using multiple operating systems (Solaris, Linux, and Windows 2000).
Significant demonstrated experience in performing trade-off studies.
Significant demonstrated experience in System performance analysis.
Five (5) years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.
Five (5) years experience in Solaris, Linux, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks.
Seven (7) years experience developing, delivering, testing and supporting integrated hardware and software systems using recognized industry recognized process management; such as a CMMI Level 2 and above, or NSA Way process structure.
Windows OS experience.
Linux experience.
Experience with Dell Blade servers and VMware.
Experience installing and configuring VMware ESX server on Dell Blades.
Experience installing and configuring VMware Infrastructure Server.
Experience building Active Directory Domain Servers.
Experience installing and configuring infrastructure related software such as DNS, McAfee EPO Servers, CENTRIFY, LDAP and Linux repositories for patching and updates.
Experience performing daily tasks of all virtual environments to include building new virtual machines, updating DNS and troubleshooting system problems.
Experience with OS (Linux).
Experience creating documentation for builds and upgrades.
Experience installing and configuring infrastructure applications and support integration with critical application environment.
Experience setting up and configuring VM client systems using VSAN storage or NETAPP.
Experience patching and updating Linux and VM systems.
Experience supporting Certification and Accreditation of Systems.
Experience introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments.
Experience analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
Experience answering technical queries and assisting developers and end users.
Experience troubleshooting any reported problems.
Apache NiFi experience (add new NiFi nodes, configure NiFi cluster, create and troubleshoot dataflows).
Scripting (creating new scripts and updating existing for Apps).
Tier III support experience.
U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

Lead projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
