In this role you will get to assist in the growth of Parsons Classified Networks.

Requirements

Must be a US citizen.
Candidate must be at least IAT II, Security+ CE or other certification.
10+ years’ experience and bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related degree; or equivalent professional experience.
Support an air-gapped network, providing hardware/software configuration, deployment, maintenance and management of the systems.
Experience managing a Windows Active Directory Domain.
Knowledge of IPV4 Networking will be beneficial.
Familiarity with the principles of automation and familiar with PowerShell, bash or ansible.
Strong understanding of computer hardware.
Strong troubleshooting methodology and processing.
Demonstrated knowledge of current backup hardware and software mechanisms for disaster recovery and continuity of operations.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with military, civilians, and other DOD contractors
TACLANE configuration and management
Familiarity with US Government policies and directives (e.g., NIST 800-53, NISPOM/32 CFR, JSIG)
Experience with RMF accreditation process is a plus.
Experience with virtualization technologies and knowledge of their concepts would be preferred.
Microsoft and CISCO Certifications would be preferred.

Responsibilities

Systems Administration duties include all components of classified information systems
Systems will consist of Microsoft Windows, Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux components
Partner with users and act as an advocate for their computing needs.
Work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to accomplish tasks.
Maintain a customer-first mindset and adapt to and respond quickly to challenging problems.
Assist customers, working within various US Government policy frameworks, while still meeting their goals.
Assist Information System Security personnel with documentation required for RMF compliance.
Make improvements to and suggestions on our current operations, requiring attention to detail, critical thinking, and solid organizational skills.
Research new technologies, their best practices and implement those new technologies securely into our environments.
Remediate information system vulnerabilities in line with best practices and IAVAs.
Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.
