We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support a client in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Experience performing Tier I/II troubleshooting for operating systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA/Information Technology experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and all related processes.
  • Supports IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Supports escalation and communication of status to client management and internal customers.
  • Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved throughout the resolution process.
  • Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components.
  • Implements operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
