About The Position

Elijah House Academy is seeking a System Administrator to join their team of passionate professionals. This full-time, 10-month, non-exempt position is primarily responsible for designing and maintaining school systems, organizing academic data for evaluation and reporting, and managing the logistics and scheduling of programming. The role also involves managing all Title grants under the direction of the Dean of Academics and providing essential teacher support. Key responsibilities include the comprehensive management of EHA computers and Google Workspace for students.

Requirements

  • Experience in Instructional Leadership.
  • Experience in Data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience in Computer systems management and problem solving, preferably to include Student Information systems and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain school systems.
  • Organize academic data for evaluation and reporting.
  • Manage logistics and scheduling of programming.
  • Manage all Title grants under the direction of the DOA.
  • Provide teacher support.
  • Manage EHA computers and Google Workspace for students.
  • Act as the FACTS Student Information System administrator for staff and enrolled students.
  • Manage staff on/offboarding (profile, security, etc.) within FACTS.
  • Assist Admissions in troubleshooting FACTS related issues.
  • Manage End of Year (EOY) progressions in FACTS.
  • Manage system defaults for each term in FACTS.
  • Manage integration of FACTS with other systems (e.g., Library: Mandarin mlasolutions, MAP: Clever).
  • Manage all academic data.
  • Create student schedules.
  • Create and manage web forms for student data (e.g., Dismissal transportation).
  • Upload MAP scores.
  • Assist teachers with FACTS Classroom procedures and troubleshooting.
  • Manage academic reporting.
  • Design report templates.
  • Review RC/PR edits, printing, distribution, and archiving.
  • Create and update high alert lists for students (behavior, attendance, academic achievement) each RC/PR.
  • Provide data to other departments for annual reports.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor Title federal forms, budgets, and requests with each school-division.
  • Manage budget requirements, track expenditures, and submit vendor invoices for Title grants.
  • Collect and manage student data for Title I eligibility.
  • Design/Assist in Scheduling and Logistics for School Programming (e.g., Daily schedules, School year events).
  • Organize student data to create car tags, dismissal card information, and Chapel dismissal information.
  • Create and format forms for the school calendar, field trips, and event planning.
  • Manage NWEA teacher and student data.
  • Ensure correct transfer of data using Clever for NWEA.
  • Ensure integrity of NWEA reporting.
  • Administer testing of 1st-8th grade applicants throughout Feb - Aug.
  • Act as Test Administrator and Proctor for K-8 standardized MAP testing 3 times a year.
  • Assist teachers with navigating and reporting in the NWEA system.
  • Determine computer and license needs for staff and students.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Perform yearly check-ups for staff computers.
  • Set/reset new computers for staff following secure procedures.
  • Maintain and ensure software systems work successfully.
  • On/offboard staff and students to/from all software systems (e.g., FACTS, IXL, NWEA, HMH, Google Workspace, MLAsolutions, Clever, Microsoft 365, Admissions FileUploader).
  • Manage users and troubleshoot issues in software systems.
  • Manage Google Workspace user accounts.
  • Set up new student devices and licenses in Google Workspace.
  • Monitor Google Workspace dashboard and investigate any concerns.
  • Maintain a safe workspace environment for students in Google Workspace.
  • Integrate software systems, digital tools, and educational technology into school curriculums and administrative workflows.
