About The Position

ITS, LLC is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. The Systems Administrator will design, implement, and monitor the department infrastructure. Monitor and coordinate administration of Linux system software. Provide input and resolutions to improve security posture and efficiency in a cloud-based infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to support the sustainment and advancement of the BCC‑R server infrastructure. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of mission systems across both production and training environments. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, proven experience supporting operational mission systems, and the ability to maintain system readiness in a high‑tempo environment. This position plays a critical role in the continuous health, modernization, and lifecycle management of BCC‑R digital and physical infrastructure, directly enabling mission execution and growth.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of hands‑on system administration experience in secure or mission‑critical environments.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (required on day one).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operational mission systems with continuous uptime requirements.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of patching cycles, system hardening, and configuration management.
  • Experience with backup technologies, restoration procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ability to diagnose complex system issues and restore services rapidly during operational events.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD systems, training environments, or command‑and‑control platforms.
  • Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory, including account management, group policy, authentication services, and domain health.
  • Support and manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper‑V, or equivalent), including provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Execute patch management across production and trainer systems, ensuring compliance, security, and minimal operational disruption.
  • Perform backup and restoration operations, validate data integrity, and ensure rapid recovery capability during mission operations.
  • Monitor and maintain system availability, performance, and security across all BCC‑R environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve authentication issues, system outages, and infrastructure faults.
  • Document system configurations, maintenance actions, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support system upgrades, capability enhancements, and emerging mission needs.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, STIGs, and configuration baselines.
