The position supports both the active contracts as well as new contract support requests in facilitation of business capture, operations, and new technology insertion. Close relationship building with the customers ensures operational readiness and compliance. AT&T has an opening for a Systems Administrator to join our growing team in support of active programs. The team operates as a cohesive group in both parallel solution / monitoring as well as individual contributions to special activities. This individual will provide position level assistance/leadership with the integration, configuration, deployment, security remediation, and operations of AT&T Managed Services for Public Sector customers serviced. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Expertise in Linux-based operating systems: Red Hat, CentOS, VMware, KVM. Windows operating system environment support. Multi-platform support of OEM appliances, Windows and Linux VMware based appliances. Patching and remediation of monitored systems and networks with the team – Understanding of Cyber Security and related support infrastructure / application solutions. Tier 2+ service support, interfacing with Tier 1 and 3+. IT service delivery, assurance, and operations. Assist in developing new shared services (product deployments, customized solutions – Internal/External as needed). Providing technical implementation support for security compliance and system accreditation processes. Required Clearance: Public Trust (#publictrust)
