About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity DevOps Engineer / IAM Architect to support and evolve our enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in Ping Identity technologies, modern cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and enterprise authentication integrations. The ideal candidate will combine strong architectural and engineering capabilities with operational support experience, including production support, troubleshooting, and on-call responsibilities. This individual will play a critical role in expanding and modernizing our IAM ecosystem while improving resiliency, automation, monitoring, and user experience.

Requirements

5–7+ years of hands-on IAM engineering and support experience
Expert-level proficiency with PingFederate
Expert-level proficiency with PingOne SSO
Expert-level proficiency with PingOne MFA
Expert-level proficiency with DaVinci
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 SSO integrations
Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Strong experience with Hybrid identity environments
Deep understanding of legacy Java/J2EE-based PingFederate custom adapters and components
Experience building and supporting Custom PCVs
Experience building and supporting Data stores
Experience building and supporting Complex federation integrations
Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities
Experience with scripting and automation using Python
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell
Experience with scripting and automation using Shell scripting
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including Terraform
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including Helm Charts
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including Git
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including Jenkins
Experience with cloud-native and DevOps technologies including Containerization technologies
Ability to work independently

Experience with PingCentral
Familiarity with PingProtect / PingOne Protect
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Familiarity with Oracle IAM technologies including OIM

Responsibilities

Support and evolve enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms.
Provide operational support, including production support, troubleshooting, and on-call responsibilities.
Expand and modernize the IAM ecosystem.
Improve resiliency, automation, monitoring, and user experience.
Support enterprise MFA rollouts and SSO enablement initiatives.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in internal and external meetings via video calls.
Go into corporate or client offices to work onsite, as necessary.
Support global/international application onboarding and SSO enablement.
