About The Position

ISHPI is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator (on-site) to support the Command and Control (C2) Afloat Integration Support (C2AIS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in Portsmouth, VA. This role will manage the supported systems of the C5ISC and provides services to include system engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, test engineering, electronic engineering, and technical writing.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Network Engineering and a minimum of six (6) years of system administration experience is required; or certificate from an accredited Community or Technical College in System Administration and eight (8) years of system administration experience is required.
• Successful completion of additional training in one or more leading network operating systems, equipment, and protocols.
• Current DoD 8570/8170 IAT Level II (i.e. Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CySA+, or CASP+/SecurityX). Additional specific information assurance certification requirements may be required.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.

Responsibilities
