About The Position

PURPOSE Work closely with CIO, IT Director, and external vendors to research, design, and implement right-sized technology solutions. Develop, deploy, and manage IT systems, platforms, and applications, ensuring an efficient technology environment. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes along with how technology is used or can be used to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Further develop tools and processes to monitor and manage IT system availability and performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Execute tasks in response to L2/L3 tickets for advanced to complex activities and provide escalation support for IT Help Desk. Oversee the maintenance of server and storage systems. Configure, manage, and maintain MS 365 environment. Observe our current project process and make suggestions for improvements and efficiency. Update systems and communicate changes with the team. Ensure all systems are properly integrated for functionality and efficiency. Provide IT support for minor issues and contact external IT support when needed. Communicator: Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will interact with many people throughout the day and help them with various technological and organizational tasks. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals, or governmental regulations. Assist in keeping project information and timelines updated for IT. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, or associates. Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Sets a positive example for associate relations. Interacts with associates to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. Effectively responds to and handles associate problems and complaints. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.

Requirements

  • Experienced: 3+ years of experience in a systems administrator or similar IT or technology role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Ability to learn McLeod LoadMaster, CRM, and Imaging.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Research questions using available information resources.
  • Advise user on appropriate Action.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate technology documentation, including current design and operation.
  • Prepare activity reports and perform trend analysis on problems reported.
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Must be able to break complex problems down to manageable tasks and work all tasks through to completion.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in McLeod software is a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL is a plus.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college, technical, business, or vocational school in information systems, computer science or a closely related field is preferred.
  • One year of relevant professional experience.
  • Current MCP, Server+, or Network + Certifications a plus.
