About The Position

We are seeking an experienced senior System Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing both our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. In this role you will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a proven track record of supporting complex IT environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system administration with on-premise and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience in Windows and Linux server administration
• Experience with network configuration, security, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques
• Knowledge of backup or recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with identity and access management solutions
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO, SOC, or GDPR
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical projects
• Possession of excellent communication skills
• MCSE, RHCE, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Certifications
