About The Position

Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for an ArcGIS Enterprise System Administrator or Senior to join our Geographic Systems team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote. Under supervision System Administrators analyze, install, configure, upgrade, test, document, monitor and maintain software and hardware in support of business processing requirements. Supported systems may include operating systems, business applications, server hardware, security tools, monitoring tools, web servers, application servers, integration servers, and other departmental or enterprise applications or systems. Provides technical support for problems not resolved by the Integrated Operations Center or IT Service Desk. Requirements

  • Installation, configuration, upgrade, test, document, monitor and maintain software and hardware for ArcGIS Enterprise including Portal, Server, GeoEvent/Velocity, Image Server, Analytic Server, and ArcGIS Monitor

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field OR An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience (System Administrator)
  • 2 or more years of relevant technology administration experience (System Administrator)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent field OR An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience (Senior System Administrator)
  • 5 or more years of professional technology administration experience (Senior System Administrator)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field (System Administrator)
  • 4 or more years of relevant technology administration experience (System Administrator)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, cyber security or a related field (Senior System Administrator)
  • 8 or more years of experience in a corporate multi-platform technology environment (Senior System Administrator)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, install, configure, upgrade, test, document, monitor and maintain software and hardware in support of business processing requirements.
  • Supported systems may include operating systems, business applications, server hardware, security tools, monitoring tools, web servers, application servers, integration servers, and other departmental or enterprise applications or systems.
  • Provides technical support for problems not resolved by the Integrated Operations Center or IT Service Desk.
  • Participate in 24x7 on call rotation.
