About The Position

Kaimetrix is seeking System Administrator – Level III professionals to support enterprise IT infrastructure operations within a secure, mission-driven environment. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing systems, servers, and network resources to ensure consistent, secure, and reliable performance in support of mission operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in system administration or related IT infrastructure roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Baseline cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CASP+, or equivalent certification aligned to DoD requirements
  • Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise servers, operating systems, and networked environments to ensure system availability and performance
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions in accordance with security policies and operational requirements
  • Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure reliable operation of IT infrastructure
  • Execute system patching, updates, and configuration changes to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards
  • Support backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and system continuity
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical problems in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, system documentation, and knowledge base materials
  • Support system security efforts by implementing required controls and maintaining compliance with applicable IT security requirements
  • Assist with system upgrades, technology refresh efforts, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities
  • Ensure users have secure and reliable access to systems and services required for mission execution
