About The Position

GDIT is seeking a System Administrator III with a Secret clearance to support IT infrastructure and operations. This role involves the design, maintenance, and operation of small to medium networks, including administering user accounts, managing mail, printer, WWW, and firewall servers. The position also requires experience in recommending software applications, identifying hardware characteristics, systems management, monitoring, sustainment, hardware repair, and software installation and maintenance. Specialized experience includes analyzing and troubleshooting military networks with specific Microsoft technologies and network services.

Requirements

Secret clearance.
3 + years of related experience.
Must meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) – Server or equivalent.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of small to medium networks.
Experience administering corporate or business user accounts.
Experience managing mail servers, printer servers, WWW servers, and/or firewalls.
Experience in reviewing and recommending software applications.
Experience identifying hardware salient characteristics and any add-on devices.
Experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.
Experience with hardware repair for servers, PCs, peripheral equipment.
Experience with software installation, maintenance and sustainment.
Lead level of experience in analyzing and troubleshooting military networks.
Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008/2012 or later version.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 (or later version) and other mail applications (local and remote).
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2008/2012 or later version.
Experience with Network Server Backup.
Experience with DHCP, DNS, WINS, and Domain Controllers.
Experience with site-specific equipment listed in the task order.
US Citizenship Required.
