About The Position

Saalex Corporation is seeking multiple System Administrator II in Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services. Founded in 1999 by Travis Mack, Saalex Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated business with prime and subcontract expertise serving the Navy, Army, Air Force, NASA, corporate clients, and local governments. The System Administrator II supports the Navy by administering, maintaining, and securing enterprise IT systems across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, and DoD environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in complex environments.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.
• US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. (for clearance).

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, or enterprise systems.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, RHCSA, AWS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain systems and services.
• Perform patching, updates, and system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system issues.
• Support security configurations.
• Maintain system logs and documentation.
