About The Position

Akina is hiring a senior System Administrator and technical contributor to support CNO Capabilities by sustaining and evolving a high-performance operational IT environment. This is not a ticket-only administrator role. The position is suited to a forward-leaning professional who takes ownership of systems, documents precisely, builds strong relationships, works directly with users, optimizes workflows, and develops repeatable processes that make future efforts more efficient. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining high-performance compute hardware, including NVIDIA H100, H200, and B300 class accelerator platforms. The administrator will also relocate existing equipment to a government data warehouse while maintaining configuration integrity and tracking, and lead installation and sustainment for new and legacy hardware in the warehouse environment. The position supports virtualization and long-term IT modernization, and may expand to AWS, cloud integrations, and Large Language Model infrastructure as mission requirements evolve. The position is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. The stated salary range is $203,000–$249,000 annually; actual compensation may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
