About The Position
This role involves solving operational problems using technology solutions composed of smaller or stand-alone components and processes, including small tools and applications. The successful candidate will deliver technology solutions that are tested, maintainable, and optimized. Key responsibilities include leading the design, implementation, and successful delivery of technical solutions for complex operational problems, conducting reviews of architecture, design, operations, process, or post-incident analysis for the team, identifying risks and mitigations, and making technical trade-offs in designs. Additionally, the role requires developing documentation to train junior members, helping them understand the team’s customers, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- One year of experience in administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering.
- One year of experience in designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- One year of experience in programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- One year of experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- One year of experience working with Linux/Unix.
