About The Position

The Vice President, Loan Syndications leads day-to-day execution of syndicated loan transactions from mandate through closing. The role partners with Origination Officers, Relationship Managers, credit, legal, and operations to deliver efficient, market-competitive outcomes for our clients across corporate, middle market, sponsor-backed, and specialty segments.
This role is designed as a progression path to a Syndications Origination Officer; the Vice President is expected to develop origination capabilities and advance to that position based on demonstrated performance, readiness, and business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years in loan syndications, leveraged finance, or corporate banking with direct responsibility for executing syndicated transactions.
• Strong command of credit agreement documentation, covenant frameworks, collateral and intercreditor structures.
• Advanced financial modeling and credit analysis; high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven project management and negotiation skills under tight timelines; effective stakeholder management across internal and external parties.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA, CFA, or similar credentials a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and executive presence.

Nice To Haves

• Established relationships with lenders (bank and institutional) and familiarity with sponsor processes preferred.
• Experience with CRM and deal platforms (e.g., SyndTrak/DebtDomain) is a plus.
• MBA, CFA, or similar credentials a plus.
