About The Position

Allied Universal is actively recruiting currently sworn, non-retired Police Officers to join our Company Police Force in North Carolina. This is your opportunity to work with a highly trained, state-compliant private police agency that values professionalism, advanced training, and public safety.

Requirements

• Currently sworn, non-retired Police Officers
• Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance, access control, or policy-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with location protocols.
• Prepare detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and support interactions with staff, visitors, and/or public agencies during routine operations or special events.
