About The Position

This role involves installing and terminating wiring onto newly assembled complex electrical systems, ensuring professional and organized wiring that meets the requirements of wiring diagrams and schematics. The work will be performed on low and medium voltage systems, and will include the installation of electrical components per assembly drawings. The position is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Technical knowledge and ability to read various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Install and terminate wiring onto newly assembled complex electrical systems.
Ensure wiring is run in a professional and organized manner that meets requirements of wiring diagrams and schematics.
Perform wiring on low and medium voltage systems.
Install electrical components per assembly drawing.
Wire various control panel products.
Install electrical components.
Interpret electrical schematics/diagrams.
Cut, strip, crimp and wire various AWG gages per print with a high degree of accuracy.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with shop employees to promote feedback to drive product improvement.
Make recommendations to management on manufacturing processes to promote lean manufacturing.
Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed.
