About The Position

NATIONAL REATAIL TRANSPORTATION is hiring experienced CDL-A Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team in Compton, CA! We have multiple full-time opportunities across various shifts. Safely move trailers within the yard and between docks, maintain accurate trailer inventory and yard organization, perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety, and communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to support smooth operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
