About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our team. Operates a switchboard system to relay incoming, outcoming, and inter-office calls. Accurately screens, identifies and places incoming and outgoing calls. Requires ability to function calmly under stress in order to respond to emergency calls, codes, and alarms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of switchboard experience is preferred.
- 1-2 years of switchboard or clerical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operates a switchboard system to relay incoming, outcoming, and inter-office calls.
- Accurately screens, identifies and places incoming and outgoing calls.
- Respond to emergency calls, codes, and alarms.
