Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or switchboard role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with call management systems and CRM platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume, multi-line switchboard system for multiple office locations
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first approach
  • Perform warm transfers only, ensuring a smooth and professional handoff between departments
  • Accurately route calls to the appropriate personnel based on customer needs
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company departments, services, and key team members
  • Handle escalated calls or sensitive situations with professionalism and urgency
  • Minimize hold times while maintaining high-quality interactions
  • Track and report call metrics, including volume, response times, and transfer efficiency
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication flow
  • Identify opportunities to improve call handling processes and customer experience
