About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven individuals with the ability to function calmly under stress in order to respond to emergency calls, codes, and alarms. This is a part-time evening position working 16 hours per week at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. The role involves supporting the Telecommunications department within Support Services.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
1-2 years of switchboard experience is preferred.
1-2 years of switchboard or clerical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls, codes, and alarms.
Function calmly under stress.
