The Switchboard Operator / Receptionist performs all functions necessary at the Reception Desk / Switchboard. This role supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities include answering and directing incoming phone calls, handling customer and associate questions and requests, distributing applications to prospective new associates, coordinating and scheduling appointments for Management, and performing clerical assignments such as filing and copying. The operator also maintains associate bulletin boards, ensures they are current, posts schedules, remains familiar with store layout, remains knowledgeable of all products, and stays aware of advertised sales, special events, and store layout. The position requires keeping the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies, and following all Company Policies and Procedures.
