About The Position
Operates the switchboard console, serving as a communication link to physicians and staff members. Monitors the alarm panel, announces codes within Meadville Medical Center, and provides assistance to patients and visitors.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent secondary education
- Extremely customer service oriented
- Above average to excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate with the public sector by verbal telephone use
- Ability to communicate with anxious and hostile people
- Able to communicate with Administrative Staff, Managers, Physicians and other members of the healthcare team tactfully and confidentially
