About The Position

The Swiss CNC Machinist sets up, operates, and maintains Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The role requires attention to detail and technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while maintaining quality and efficiency. The position is offered on either first or third shift, Monday through Friday. First shift hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; third shift hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Both schedules include a 20-minute paid lunch.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including a minimum of two years of Swiss CNC experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
• Experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to job specifications.
• Load raw materials and verify tooling alignment and offsets.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Make program edits and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
• Perform preventative machine maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality standards.
• Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
