About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist II who takes pride in accurate setups, quality parts, and helping teammates succeed in a clean, air-conditioned shop. This role focuses on putting Swiss machining skills to work making precision medical components while keeping weekdays open. The position offers a unique three-day schedule where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40, resulting in four days off each week.
Requirements
- 3+ years in CNC Swiss machining
- Independent setup and troubleshooting skills
- Strong shop math, precision measurement skills, and attention to detail
- Comfort using computers and production tracking systems
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Medical manufacturing experience
- Machining training or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently set up and run Swiss CNC machines on intermediate-complexity jobs.
- Apply G and M code knowledge on Citizen machines to keep production running accurately.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, working with supervision as needed.
- Train teammates on basic and intermediate setups and production jobs.
- Communicate clearly across shifts and departments.
- Keep your workspace safe and organized, and contribute ideas that improve daily operations.
