About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seven seasoned, highly skilled Swiss - CNC Machinists on behalf of a valued client partner in the precision medical device manufacturing sector. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for these Swiss - CNC Machinist opportunities. We are seeking dependable machinists with hands-on Swiss machining experience who can produce high-precision components, maintain production flow, and hold tight tolerances in a regulated manufacturing environment. These positions require strong attention to detail, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, quality-driven setting.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of CNC machining experience in production settings
• Direct experience operating Swiss CNC machines strongly preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and dimensional interpretation skills
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance parts with precision tools
• Ability to monitor tooling, offsets, and production consistency
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset
• Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered
• No CNC machining production experience
• No Swiss machine experience or no transferable precision turning background
• No blueprint reading capability
• No inspection tool experience
• Poor attendance or unstable work history
• Frequent job changes without clear rationale or progression
• 1–3+ years CNC machining experience
• Swiss machining experience strongly preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
• Experience holding tight tolerances on small precision parts
• Dependable production mindset and strong attendance
• Comfortable working onsite in West Chester, Pennsylvania
• Open to assigned shift schedules
• Stable resume with progressive growth

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Star Swiss , Citizen, Tsugami, Tornos, or Hanwha platforms
• Background in medical device, aerospace, or precision machining industries
• Experience with bar feeders and long-run production environments
• Ability to assist with setups and tool changes
• Multi-machine operation experience
• Exposure to Swiss programming or edits
• Knowledge of ISO-driven or regulated manufacturing systems
• Star Swiss machinists from medical device shops
• Swiss machinists from aerospace precision environments
• Multi-machine Swiss operators with strong inspection habits
• Machinists with setup support or programming edits experience

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss CNC machines in a production environment
• Produce precision components while maintaining quality and throughput goals
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions accurately
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and gauges
• Monitor tooling wear, offsets, coolant flow, and machine consistency
• Support setups, tooling changes, and changeovers as needed
• Maintain tight tolerances on small, detailed components
• Keep work areas organized and compliant with quality standards
• Communicate quality or production concerns promptly to supervisors
