About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have experience producing precision components, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines
- Strong understanding of CNC programming; G-code knowledge preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-axis Swiss machines (Citizen, Tsugami)
- Experience machining a variety of materials including stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminum
- Familiarity with high-precision, tight-tolerance manufacturing environments
- Programming experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines
- Perform routine machine adjustments and tool changes
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
