About The Position

The Swing Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving tractor trailer and shuttling product from their home branch warehouse to satellite locations and dropping product. This role requires flexibility to work 12pm-until and 4pm-until shifts, as well as Saturdays. The Swing Shuttle Driver will also perform general warehouse duties when not driving. Some delivery and product pickup is required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license and approved driving record.
• DOT medical card required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently.
• Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor trailer or other company owned vehicles and deliver product to satellite branches as needed.
• Load and unload products using electric pallet jacks.
• Pick up unused product, drink flats, empty totes, and pallets, from satellite branch to transport to home branch for disposition.
• Occasional transport of BBG products is required.
• Collect money from satellite branch to transport to home branch for deposit.
• Perform all aspects of the warehouse under the General Warehouse job description while not performing shuttle driver duties.
