About The Position

As a Swing Shift CNA/MT, you’ll support residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity during the 2–10pm shift. This role exists to ensure consistent, compassionate care and timely follow-through on resident needs. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking and documenting vital signs, observing and reporting changes in condition, supporting mobility and transfers, and maintaining a clean, respectful care environment while following care plans and facility procedures.

Requirements

• Active CNA and/or Medication Technician credentials as applicable
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and teammates
• Reliable attendance for swing shift, every other weekend, and rotating holidays
• Basic documentation skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Taking and documenting vital signs
• Observing and reporting changes in condition
• Supporting mobility and transfers
• Maintaining a clean, respectful care environment
• Following care plans and facility procedures
• Getting oriented to the unit’s priorities
• Helping residents stay comfortable
• Keeping notes current as needs change
• Coordinating with coworkers as families visit
• Responding to call lights
• Supporting a calm handoff as bedtime routines begin
• Wrapping up documentation
• Confirming anything that needs follow-up
• Setting up the next team for a smooth start
