About The Position
Join our swine research team and play a hands-on role in supporting animal care and day-to-day research activities in the swine unit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, staying active, and contributing to meaningful research.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Animal or livestock experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Support daily animal care: feeding, watering, observing, and documenting health/behavior
- Clean and sanitize pens, equipment, and work areas to maintain strong biosecurity standards
- Assist with research tasks such as weighing, moving animals, collecting samples, and recording data
- Help with set-up and coordination for trials (labeling, inventory, supplies, basic equipment support)
