About The Position

This position teaches swimming to Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The role organizes and supervises aquatics programs for therapeutic purposes, to teach cooperation, sportsmanship, daily living skills, perceptual motor skills and to provide structured development programs and promote lifetime sports for residents. Direct supervision will be provided by the Program Director and Assistant Program Director.

Requirements

• Verifiable high school diploma or GED
• Valid and Current Driver's License
• Age 18 or older
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Current WSI - Water Safety Instruction and Life Guarding and/or Adapted Aquatics Instructor - First Aid and CPR certification is required.
