About The Position

Silver Lake Regional High School is in search of a boys' and girls' swimming coach to oversee the training and management of the high school swimming program. This role involves teaching swimming skills and strategies to student-athletes in grades 9-12, acting as a role model, and managing various aspects of the team and its facilities.

Requirements

• Experience coaching high school swimming.
• Experience working with students.

Responsibilities

• Teach the skills and strategies of swimming to student-athletes in grades 9-12.
• Act as a role-model and teacher of swimming.
• Coach practices and game days.
• Condition athletes.
• Supervise athletes.
• Maintain practice facility and equipment.
• Determine awards for students.
• Provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
• Communicate regularly with families as needed.
