The Head Coach for Swimming (Boys) at Mt. Hope High School is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and continually improving the interscholastic sport. Coaches must be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport and are directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the program's content, conduct, and coordination. Athletics is considered an integral part of the educational process, and coaches are expected to promote and upgrade their programs through enthusiasm, ability, and determination, considering areas such as administration, budget, rules and regulations, equipment and uniforms, team travel, scheduling, team management, and certification. At Bristol Warren Regional Athletics, the student-athlete is prioritized as a student first, and coaches are expected to believe in the educational experience athletics provides, adhering to program rules and regulations. Coaches should demonstrate respect, loyalty, character, sportsmanship, and honor, aiming to develop each athlete as a community citizen and ensure a positive athletic experience. While winning is valued, personal growth, teamwork, and preparation for life beyond school are also emphasized.
