Requirements

Are 18+ years old
can lift up to 50 pounds
are comfortable working in a warm indoor pool
Enjoy working with children and helping others succeed.
Build trust through reliability, positivity, and professionalism.
Communicate clearly and connect easily with students, families, and teammates.
Thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and customer-focused environment.
Adapt quickly and bring energy to every lesson.

Responsibilities

Teach 1–4 students per class using hands-on instruction and the FOSS Swim Path curriculum.
Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students build confidence, skills, and lifelong water safety habits.
Build strong relationships with students and families by celebrating progress, sharing updates, and creating an experience that keeps swimmers motivated and families confident.
Collaborate with fellow team members to support school goals and ensure every student receives exceptional instruction.
Take ownership of each lesson by preparing, adapting, and helping swimmers achieve their goals.
Observe student performance, recognize safety risks, and maintain awareness of multiple students at all times.
Bring energy, enthusiasm, and purpose to every class while helping students reach important milestones.
