About The Position

FOSS Swim School is opening a new location in Parker, CO in August 2026 and is currently accepting Swim Teacher applications. The role involves teaching students lifelong swim skills, confidence, and safety in and around the water, making a meaningful impact in the local community. New hires will be trained on the FOSS Swim Path Curriculum to build teaching skills and team connection. The position offers the opportunity to instruct a variety of ages and skill sets, making swimming a safe and enjoyable sport. Laughter, improvisation, and connection are important parts of the teaching method.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Comfortable working in a pool setting.
Work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Positive attitude and high energy.
Practice good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience interacting with children is preferred.
Aquatic background is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a class of 1-4 students by providing hands-on swim instruction (following the FOSS Swim Path curriculum), promote swimmer safety, and teach life-enriching skills.
Ensure a safe, engaging, and educational experience for students, similar to working in daycare or childcare settings.
Build partnerships and interact with the student’s parent or guardian on their progress.
