About The Position
The Manchester Family YMCA is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. We are looking for candidates with open availability. This position offers a pay range of $15-$17 per hour.
Requirements
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
- Open availability.
- Ability to work regular weekly hours.
Nice To Haves
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead swim lessons for program participants.
- Work with all ages.
- Teach swimming skills, basic water safety, and YMCA core values.
- Use different tools and teaching techniques.
- Work with small groups of students.
