About The Position

Help build confidence, teach life-saving skills, and inspire a lifelong love of the water. As a Swim Instructor, you'll do more than teach swim lessons—you'll help children and adults gain confidence, develop new skills, and stay safe in and around the water. Every lesson is an opportunity to encourage, motivate, and make a lasting impact while creating a fun and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Engaging, cheerful, and helpful demeanor.
• Alert and safety-oriented with the ability to anticipate potential safety issues.
• Ability to take being a role model seriously and lead by example.
• Ability to have challenging conversations, such as those regarding swimming ability.
• Problem solver, able to thrive in a loud, disordered environment.
• Team player, works well with others and can lead when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults.
• Help participants gain confidence and develop new skills.
• Ensure participants stay safe in and around the water.
• Encourage and motivate participants.
