The YMCA of the North Shore is excited to launch aquatics programming at our NEW Soul Center YMCA, formerly the Beverly Athletic Club, featuring a shallow heated indoor saltwater pool — and we’re looking for Swim Instructors to join our team! 💧 No Experience? No Problem! We provide paid training for the right candidates! Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Positive attitude, love of the water, and desire to make a difference!
Nice To Haves
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred – or willing to obtain
Responsibilities
- Teach swim skills to children and adults of all ability levels
- Lead engaging group and private lessons using YMCA swim progression
- Promote water safety and build lifelong confidence in the water
- Work with all ages — from Parent/Child classes to adult learners
- Assess swimmer progress and provide positive, encouraging feedback
