About The Position
Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking an energetic Swim Instructor with a sincere love of children and swimming. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact by teaching children to swim in a fun and safe environment. The position is onsite at a state-of-the-art facility, with a starting pay of $18.50+/Hour. The hiring process is quick, often taking less than a week. Aqua-Tots Swim School specializes in teaching children to swim from day one using a proprietary curriculum in 91-degree water and full-sized pools, aiming to develop confident, life-long swimmers.
Requirements
- Energetic with a sincere love of children and swimming
- Passion for swimming
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work well with children
- Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30 am-3 pm (Saturday or Sunday)
Nice To Haves
- No experience needed (indoor coaching and training provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all the safety guidelines and Aqua-Tots procedures
- Attend monthly in-service training
- Track student swim progression throughout the levels
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests
- Teach 8 or 9 classes back to back during 4-6 hour shifts
- Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels
- Help students develop water safety skills and enhance swimming abilities
- Create and implement lesson plans
- Conduct group and individual lessons
- Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents
- Ensure the safety of all participants in the pool area
- Maintain a clean and organized teaching environment
