About The Position
The Swim Instructor role focuses on creating confidence in swimmers of all ages through leading engaging one-on-one and/or small group lessons. The instructor will craft personalized development plans, create fun and energetic learning environments that make water safety enjoyable, and provide encouraging feedback to build skills and confidence. Maintaining safety protocols while fostering a positive atmosphere and building meaningful relationships with students and their families are key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Strong swimming abilities across various techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient teaching style
- Adaptability to different learning styles and needs
- Genuine enthusiasm for water safety and teaching
Nice To Haves
- Current lifeguard/CPR certifications
- Previous swim instruction experience
