About The Position
Brooklyn Sports Club is hiring Swim Instructors to teach swimmers of all ages—from beginner water safety to advanced stroke development—in one of Brooklyn’s most active aquatics programs. This is a great opportunity for swimmers, lifeguards, and aquatics professionals looking for flexible hours and strong hourly pay while making a real impact teaching life-saving skills.
Requirements
- Lifeguard Certification and CPR/AED required (or ability to obtain)
- Positive, reliable, and comfortable working with children
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Swim instruction or aquatics experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach swim lessons for children and adults at various skill levels
- Help swimmers develop water safety, comfort, and stroke technique
- Create a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate with parents about swimmer progress
- Maintain pool safety and follow aquatics policies
