About The Position

The Swim Instructor is responsible for teaching swimming skills to participants. This role requires the individual to be at least 16 years old and possess current certifications in Red Cross, YMCA, or Ellis, along with CPR, First Aid, AED, and O2. The instructor must be capable of performing all physical tasks of a Lifeguard, including lifting an adult male from the pool onto the pool deck. Additionally, they must complete program-specific and employee orientation training within the required timeline.

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years old
• Current in either Red Cross, YMCA or Ellis certification
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, AED and O2
• Must be able to perform all physical tasks of a Lifeguard
• Must be able to lift an adult male from the pool onto the pool deck
