About The Position

A Sweeper Operator is responsible for operating street‑sweeping equipment to clean streets, parking lots, and public areas. This role helps maintain safe, clean, and attractive roadway conditions.

Requirements

• 2 Year plus of experience
• Clean CDL A Required. (clean driving record)
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Able to travel and work flexible hours as required
• Must pass drug testing

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating paving or heavy construction equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate street sweeper vehicles along assigned routes
• Remove dirt, debris, litter, and leaves from streets and gutters
• Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Dispose of collected debris at approved locations
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures
• Assist with other public works tasks as needed
