About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves operating sweeper equipment to clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces, removing debris, dust, and material buildup to support safe and efficient operations. The position also includes performing routine inspections and basic maintenance on sweeper equipment, following site safety procedures, and supporting general site housekeeping.

Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Solid communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs

Responsibilities

Operate sweeper equipment to clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces
Remove debris, dust, and material buildup to support safe and efficient operations
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on sweeper equipment
Follow site safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance needs promptly
Support general site housekeeping and assist with other operational tasks as needed
