Requirements
- Associate's degree of Nursing
- Two (2) years of ICU or SWAT RN experience
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Ultrasound guided PIV placement/treatment within Six (6) months
- NIHSS Certification within 30 Days
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree of Nursing
- Three (3) years of ICU experience
- Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute (CCRN)
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Responsibilities
- Respond to and lead hospital-wide rapid response, code blue, and code stroke calls as the primary clinical responder
- Perform advanced vascular access and USPIV placements while troubleshooting related devices
- Conduct proactive walkthrough rounds on all nursing units at least twice per shift to assess department needs and coordinate resources
- Mentor and coach nursing staff on competencies, documentation, equipment use, and quality metrics
