About The Position

You will be a Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager in the Orlando Software Engineering Department. This role is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle. As an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Managing he development of C++ code Software requirement definition, design, code, test, integration, and verification activities for simulation software. Management and development of the team Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions. Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related sciences
  • Experience in cybersecurity / Anti Tamper principles
  • Implementation and Verification & Validation testing
  • Familiarity with C++
  • Experience with software design
  • Must be a US citizen - this position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
