About The Position

The SVP, Operations is a Dallas-based senior leader responsible for operating and improving critical back-office functions supporting Triumph's Audit & Payments business. This role will lead high-volume and exception-based workflows with a focus on service quality, productivity, scalability, risk mitigation, and expense discipline. The leader will develop accountable operations managers, build decision-ready performance visibility, and partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Treasury, Fraud, and Customer Success to modernize work through practical process improvement, AI, automation, and tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, or other related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leadership of complex, high-volume, back-office, shared-services, financial services, logistics, BPO, revenue-cycle, or comparable operational environments.
  • Demonstrated success improving service levels, quality, productivity, expense scalability, controls, and customer outcomes in a measurable way.
  • Experience leading workflow redesign, root-cause analysis, operating cadence development, and performance management in knowledge-work or transaction-processing environments.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and automation/AI teams to prioritize improvements based on operational value and business impact.
  • Experience managing distributed, offshore/nearshore, vendor-supported, or low-cost labor models, preferably through managers or team leads.
  • Curious process and systems thinker who can turn ambiguous work into clear inputs, decisions, handoffs, controls, metrics, and improvement priorities.
  • Strong analytical and operating economics mindset; skilled at using data to diagnose performance, capacity, quality, cost, and root causes.
  • Practical AI and automation judgment; understands how to improve processes before automating them and where controls or human review are required.
  • Product-minded operator who can translate operational pain into clear business cases, requirements, and prioritization tradeoffs.
  • Constructive change leader who can raise expectations, challenge assumptions, and maintain trust and morale during change.
  • Strong executive communicator with high integrity, sound judgment, and an ownership mindset consistent with Triumph's values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution and transformation of back-office functions supporting Audit & Payments, aligning service, quality, risk, productivity, and expense outcomes with business needs.
  • Redesign high-volume and exception-based workflows by making work visible, clarifying ownership and handoffs, and reducing avoidable rework, delays, manual effort, and customer friction.
  • Build operating metrics and review cadences that connect activity to outcomes, including SLA performance, backlog aging, throughput, capacity, quality, unit cost, risk mitigation, and customer value.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI/automation resources to translate operational needs into practical improvements and business cases.
  • Lead distributed and offshore teams through managers and team leads, setting clear expectations for productivity, quality, coaching, accountability, and morale.
  • Strengthen cross-functional execution with Treasury, Fraud, Customer Success, and other partners by resolving ownership gaps, escalation paths, and decision needs.
  • Present concise, decision-ready performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, practical innovation, operational discipline, and respectful accountability.
