About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Enterprise Data & AI is a member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for defining and executing the Credit Union's enterprise strategy for data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. This executive leads the development of the vision, governance, operating model, and organizational capabilities that position data and AI as strategic assets to drive informed decision-making, operational excellence, innovation, and exceptional member experiences. Partnering closely with executive leadership, the SVP fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making, responsible AI adoption, and continuous learning while advancing Enterprise Intelligence capabilities that create measurable business value and long-term competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (computer science, information systems, statistics, or related discipline required); advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, AI, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years leading high-performing technical and business teams, with a demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build organizational capability.
  • Proven success developing enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategies that deliver measurable business results and mature organizational capabilities.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance, modern data platforms, data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and analytical tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise data management, analytics, business intelligence, data governance, artificial intelligence, and modern information management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish enterprise strategies while maintaining technical expertise to guide architecture, evaluate technologies, mentor technical teams, and support complex solution delivery.
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud-based data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence platforms and the ability to make informed operational and investment decisions.
  • Expertise developing enterprise governance frameworks supporting data quality, stewardship, responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and organizational accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business strategies.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale organizational transformation and successfully drive enterprise adoption of new capabilities.

  • Financial services experience preferred; Credit Union experience strongly preferred.

  • Drive enterprise adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled business practices.
  • Champion organizational change, learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Enterprise Intelligence team.
  • Manage departmental strategy, budgets, and talent development.
  • Guide technology investments and vendor partnerships supporting enterprise initiatives.
  • Identify and implement data and AI solutions that improve efficiency, member experience, and business performance.
  • Measure and communicate the impact of Enterprise Intelligence initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends to recommend strategic technology investments.
